Forsythia Festival |
This
family-fun event culminates in a two-day arts-and-crafts
show in downtown Forsyth. Other events include a children’s
fair, 5K and one-mile fun run, sporting tournaments, live
entertainment, fashion show, beauty pageant, and other
community events. Enjoy mouth-watering foods, fine arts and
crafts, and a fun time for the whole family. Join us
Saturday night for FaithFest, our faith-based singing
competition celebrating music, faith, and our community. The
Forsythia Festival has been recognized as a Top 20 Event by
the Southeast Tourism Society since 2009.

Holidays Parade |
Join us for this
nighttime parade, the only one of its kind in Central
Georgia. Held annually in downtown
Forsyth, the Hometown Holidays Parade is one of the most
anticipated events of the year. Parade-goers fill downtown
Forsyth to enjoy waving to neighbors, seeing kids ride a float they
created, singing along to the music, and the friendly
competition of the float contest. And, who can forget the
best part? Seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus at the end!

"Santa Comes To Small Town America." Bring your lawn chairs
and the whole family and join us for this wonderful hometown
Christmas Parade. Pre-parade festivities will begin at 2:00
p.m. and concessions will be available. All the kids can
visit with Santa and Mrs. Clause after the parade in Santa's
Workshop (next to fire station). |
